Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer- Electrical Bias
Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading manufacturing company based in the Barnsley area, who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with immediate effect!
Salary: £48,972
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Days and nights- Panama shift

Duties of this position:
- General maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment
- Attending to breakdowns
- Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
- Help to develop and complete PPM’s regularly
- Liase with other departments regarding breakdowns and changes
- Working within a team environment
Desired experience:
- You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
- It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
- Ideally have sound mechanical engineering knowledge/ experience also
- Must be happy working shifts
- Have experience of Fault finding withing previous roles.
- Ideally have manufacturing experience from and engineering perspective
- Have experience of working with PLC’s
- Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
- You must be open minded and flexible to change with the needs and growth of the business
