Job Description:

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled General Builder with expertise in carpentry to join their team. As a vital member of our construction crew, you will play a key role in executing various projects, from property extensions to house renovations. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including proficiency in carpentry, alongside a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute all aspects of construction projects, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general building tasks.
2. Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise construction.
3. Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, installing windows and doors, constructing cabinets, and finishing surfaces.
4. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
7. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
8. Uphold the company's reputation for excellence by delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service on every project.
9. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members and demonstrating a willingness to assist others as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled General Builder with a focus on carpentry, preferably in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
3. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise and accurate construction.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate professionally with clients.
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites within North Kent.
8. Relevant certifications or licenses in carpentry or general building (preferred but not required).

Salary: The salary for this position ranges from £150 to £180 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
