We are supporting a leading FMCG business that continues to invest in CapEx for plant improvements. There has been significant focus on process improvements and an increase in automated lines. 
To ensure best in class maintenance of this facility, they seek a further Multi-skilled Engineer to work 4on/4off rotating day and night shifts.
Ideally you will have worked within the FMCG sector previously, but this is not essential. The business welcomes applications from engineers with either mechanical or electrical bias as long as they have at least level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualification.
There is a considerable training budget as they seek to continuously upskill the Engineering team.

Core duties include:
  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to support an upturn in OEE
  • Carry out maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime
  • Carry out engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely manner
  • Fully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategy to move from a reactive breakdown philosophy to proactive and preventative maintenance
  • To step change the performance and efficiency of the existing plant through continuous improvement techniques
  • Ensure workshop is kept to a good standard, clean and tidy
  • Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose
  • Complete Job reports/tickets each shift
