Our Corby based client are looking for a time-served multi-skilled engineer to conduct pre-planned and reactive maintenance for an automated distribution facility. Hours:

  • 4-on-4-off rotating through day shifts and nights
  • 42-hour per week

Duties:

  • Conduct PPM to a high standard
  • Servicing and repairing automated equipment in accordance with supplier guidelines, including conveyors, cooling systems, cranes, and oxygen reduction
  • General estate management as a multi-skilled engineer
  • Fault finding Mechanical/Electrical breakdowns

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a recognised electrical qualification
  • Experience of working with roller conveyor systems (preferred)
  • Experience of working with automated stacker cranes (preferred)
  • Be proactive and independently make decisions but equally aware of when to escalate or communicate with key stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience of working in an automated warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Ability to work at heights up to 42 metres
  • Previous experience in a multi-skilled engineer position
