Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk
Salary: up to £37,000 per annum

We are thrilled to work with a prominent, family-run food manufacturing business as they actively seek a dynamic Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their growing team.

Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the seamless operation of production machinery through a combination of pre-planned and reactive maintenance. As a key contributor, you'll play a vital part in the upkeep, repair, and calibration of both electrical and mechanical equipment. Your proactive approach will extend beyond current operations, as you actively seek innovative ways to enhance and optimise future processes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and tackling breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency.
• Carry out plant checks and readings on essential equipment
• Work efficiently to ensure all electrical/mechanical engineering work is completed in a safe manner
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production lines to identify and implement improvements
• Carry out machine inspections, conduct relevant repairs or improvements and carry our preventative maintenance on equipment
• Provide mechanical and electrical assistance to breakdowns

Required Skills:

• Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTECH or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of 3-phase electrics

Desired Skills:

• Understanding and working experience with pumps, motors, inventors and PLC's
• Manual handling, lifting and carrying experience
• Experience of working in planned / reactive maintenance roles.
• Previous agricultural, FMCG or food manufacturing experience

Shift Pattern:

• DAY SHIFT only 06:00 - 18:00
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Working Location:

• Kings Lynn
• On-site based role
