Maintenance Engineer, Wembley, Continental Days & Nights, £47,000 - £50,000
 
Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required to join a team of Maintenance Engineers working within a food process and packaging environment. The Maintenance Engineer must be a multi-skilled Engineer, electrically biased with proven experience of maintaining food process and packaging machinery
 
As the Maintenance Engineer your key responsibilities will be to provide Electrical and Mechanical support to ensure the performance of all production machinery and electrical systems.
Prompt attendance to automated machinery failures, and improvement / upgrade work.
General Continuous Improvement activities
Minimise machine downtime
Prevent manufacturing lost time
Achievement of the Preventative Maintenance Plan
Planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.         

The Maintenance Engineer MUST have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes and have experience of working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems.
 
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have some the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
 
This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.
