Adept are pleased to be working with an award-winning manufacturing company based in Rotherham. Seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Multi-Skilled Electrician. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operations and be involved in various projects from conception to completion.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday. - Two Week Early, One Week Days and One Week Afters
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical plant site-wide, ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Participate in small projects from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct routine maintenance to minimize breakdowns and improve overall systems efficiency.
- Enhance existing systems through the development of technical documentation and safety protocols.
- Review and comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform any other relevant duties within your skill set as required.
Requirements:
- Proficient in handling electrical and mechanical engineering activities.
- Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, switchgear, and transformers (Desirable).
- Familiarity with power distribution, emergency generators, and UPS systems.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, process controllers, PLCs, motor control, and variable speed drives.
- Previous experience in a 24/7 production environment and willingness to work on a call-out basis.
- Attention to detail, observant, thorough and able to complete service reports and PM routines
- Fault-finding skills
- Proven problem solver
Qualifications/Training:
- BTEC ONC/HNC Level education.
- Completed a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
- Qualified in 18th Edition BS7671 Electrical Regulations (Desirable).
- H.V. Awareness Qualification (Desirable).
- Experience with Siemens S5 and S7 (Desirable).
