Multi Drop HGV Driver (All Handball)

Location: Clitheroe - depart and return each day - deliveries to North West area

Salary: £14.33 plus benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, start time approx. 6.30am until finish. Guaranteed 40hrs per week

With depots located in Clitheroe, Lancashire and Huddersfield, Yorkshire, our client delivers wholesale catering supplies consisting of around 4000 product lines direct to numerous businesses including licensed trade and restaurants, coffee shops and sandwich bars, schools and universities and establishments in the care industry across the whole of the North of England.

The Role

The company are looking for an experienced multi-drop driver with a class C licence (HGV 2) who is able to:

• Complete all deliveries on a pre-planned route in a timely and safe manner
• Check goods off with customers on delivery following the company’s Quality, Food, Health & Safety procedures
• Obtain a digital POD

The role is physically demanding as all products are handball, with no pallets or cages and vehicles are multi-temperature delivering a range of frozen, chilled and ambient products to various outlets e.g. restaurants, pubs, cafes, schools, care homes etc.

Skills & Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with required category C
• Multi drop experience
• Efficient delivery schedule to pre-planned routes
• Positive and friendly attitude and communication
