The first role we are hiring for is an Imaging Scientist or Senior Imaging Scientist with expertise in diffusion MRI is sought for our team. The position encompasses both data analysis and long-term research and development efforts aimed at driving future innovations.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and interpret relevant research findings from literature sources and spearhead new advancements toward future enhancements in our models and tools.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in imaging microstructure by attending conferences and staying updated on dMRI and modeling literature.
  • Conduct internal presentations to assess significant progress and update colleagues accordingly.
  • Take the lead in crafting abstracts for submission to MRI-focused conferences, presenting posters and/or talks, and overseeing related submissions to scientific journals.
  • Collaborate with the Science Team on abstracts for conferences focused on applications (e.g., AAIC, AD/PD, CTAD) and associated scientific journal submissions.
  • Assist collaborators with inquiries regarding MRI protocols and protocol optimization.
  • Provide support for resolving issues related to scanning or dMRI processing.

What you should bring:

  • Hold a PhD in MR physics, neuroimaging, or a closely-related field.
  • Possess scientific publications pertaining to diffusion MRI acquisition, modeling, or analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with one or more general neuroimaging software packages such as FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer, AFNI.
  • Showcase experience with one or more diffusion MRI software packages like MRtrix, ExploreDTI, Camino, etc.
  • Display competence with one or more statistical software packages such as SPSS, Stata, R, etc.
  • Have programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C++, MATLAB, or Julia.
  • Exhibit familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting
