Are you a certified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in the picturesque setting of Bermuda? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their dealership team.
What you'll be doing
- Perform thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Document technical findings and provide estimates as required
- Utilise manufacturer service manuals and technical resources for guidance
- Actively seek training and development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise
- Offer technical recommendations for diagnostics and conduct test drives as needed
- Strive for continuous improvement in operations and customer service
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Fulfil other ad hoc duties as required
Here's how the role aligns with your profile
- City & Guilds qualifications at level 3 (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of post-apprenticeship mechanical experience
- Proficient knowledge of fundamental automotive components
- Experience with electric vehicle technology is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, technicians, and manufacturers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid clean driver's licence
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
