A fantastic opportunity has been brought to market for an experienced Motor Trade Underwriter to join a highly reputable Insurance Company client in Manchester.

The business is extremely well placed in the market, with the knowledge and experience to look after a diverse range of insurance needs for its brokers.

As Motor Trade Underwriter, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service, underwriting within your authority limit in a profitable manner whilst referring all cases outside to a Senior Underwriter. You will also need to be a good team member and able to develop solid relationships with colleagues and brokers alike.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in and a strong approach to underwriting Motor Trade Combined risks.
  • A good technical understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
  • Strong trading skills to develop broker accounts and achieve profitable growth.
  • An excellent team player and strong customer centric approach, working collaboratively to deliver a first-class service.
  • Will be extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Possess good problem solving skills.
