My client is looking to recruit an experienced qualified Motor Technician. This company are growing and need an additional Technician to meet demand. Based in Hoddesdon.

The company are a commercial vehicle repair shop, and they need a mechanic on hand!

• Salary: around £35,000 to £45,000, depending on skills and experience, truly negotiable.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

• Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair, servicing and diagnostics of motor vehicles
• Work with other departments to facilitate the servicing, repair and diagnostics of vehicles
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
• Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and retain existing custom through the workshop

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Troubleshooting- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Repairing- Repairing machines or systems.
• Active Learning- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
• Installation- Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
• Complex Problem Solving- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• A good communicator and team player
• Able to coordinate with the team to find the best solutions

Hours of work Monday to Friday 7.00 to 4.00
