Are you a Motor Claims Handler currently seeking a new opportunity?

Our client is one of the fastest growing insurers in the UK, a Norwegian based company who expanded to the UK in 2015 and have grown rapidly in the last 8 years. On the back of some great success and huge growth, they are looking to recruit experienced Motor Claims Handlers to expand their team at their head office in Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre.

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will become a crucial member of their growing Claims Team and will be responsible for handling clients’ Motor Claims on a cradle to grave basis.

Internal and External relationships are key to the success of the business; therefore, it is extremely important that you are a good team player as well as being very client focused, organised and ensure a first in class service is provided at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling Motor Claims on behalf of clients, from initial FNOL call through to settlement.
  • Managing your own varied caseload of claims, through telephone and written communication.
  • Ensuring a consistent, first in class service is provided to all parties.
  • Questioning, interview and probing where necessary to get the right result.
  • Acting as the point of contact for both policyholders and brokers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling Motor Claims is essential, dealing with Credit Hire, Vehicle Damage and/or Third Party.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
  • Good time management skills are essential as well as being a well organised individual.
  • Being confident in your own ability and good decision making is immensely important along with having a highly professional demeanour.
  • A good team worker, able to work collaboratively with others both internally and externally.
