Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler or legal specialist looking for a rewarding career opportunity?

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Motor Claims Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a portfolio of motor claims, including bodily injury and credit hire cases, from initiation to resolution within the MOJ and the OIC portal.

The role is full time in the office, offering a competitive salary plus great additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to agreed personal authority limits, seeking line manager authorization for activities exceeding these limits.
  • Controlling claim costs by achieving cost-effective settlements through effective negotiation and use of liability and quantum arguments.
  • Maintaining accurate file discipline, reserves, and a proactive diary system to ensure timely case reviews.

Requirements for Success:

  • Current knowledge of Motor claims handling, including Personal Injury, Credit Hire, Indemnity, Liability, Third Party risks, and other associated claim types within motor insurance.
  • Proficiency in claims negotiation, liability decision-making, and cost assessment.
  • Current experience with the MOJ and the OIC portal.
