Role: Mortgage Helpdesk Adviser
Location: Newbury (option for hybrid working once training is complete)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £25,497

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly and fast paced team, working as part of our team on our mortgage broker helpdesk and to contribute towards achieving sales targets.
You will be fully supported and provided with a clear training plan to enable you to develop the skills and experience required to:
- Take ownership for managing a variety of enquiries via phone, email and live chat.
- Support third party systems to ensure our products are accurately reflected and to assist brokers with our online broker service.
- Convert new broker enquiries into applications.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365
- GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or equivalent
Desirable criteria:
- CeMAP qualification
- Competent and legal driver
- Some experience of working within a sales environment
- General understanding of the Financial Services industry
- Some knowledge and experience of underwriting
