Mortgage Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an extremely successful firm of Mortgage Brokers, for a Mortgage Consultant to join their team.

Job Description:

• Following up leads by working alongside their Estate Agency introducers as well as leads from existing customers and via the internet
• Giving mortgage and protection advice to financially secure clients, including HNW individuals
• Promoting other services including will writing
• Researching the most suitable products for your clients
• The majority of your day will be spent liaising with your clients, giving professional and suitable advice and applying for and administering the mortgages and protections cases you have arranged

Person Specification:

• Confident, tenacious, professional, hardworking and motivated
• Smart/well-presented/professional attire
• Organized
• First class communication skills
• 1-2 years + experience established as a mortgage consultant with applicable mortgage qualification
• Somebody prepared to work long hours for good reward
• Motivated by success as well as high earning potential

Additional Information:

• Mortlake based
• Basic salary: £30,000 plus various additional bonuses and commissions
• Potential of basic to rise to £45,000 by becoming a senior adviser if targets are met after a couple of years
• Once established and proven in the role, further along the line there will be the option of working from home a couple of days a week
• Realistic earning potential of £60-75,000 in the longer term (client will explain on interview the remuneration package and the opportunity for high earnings)
• Hours are 9-6pm Monday to Friday and working 1 Saturday every 4 weeks
