A forward thinking and modern mortgage brokery are recruiting for an experienced mortgage broker in an employed position. They are based in Wanstead, and are looking to expand their practice. They already have a highly experienced and successful team, and can offer opportunities for brokers to further their career

This is a great opportunity for ambitious brokers who want an employed position, to further their career. The role includes self-generated leads as well as generated leads and will offer a healthy basic salary and commission structure

Client Consultation:

Meet with clients to assess their financial situation, goals, and mortgage needs.

Provide expert advice on mortgage products, interest rates, and lending options based on client requirements.

Mortgage Application Process:

Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.

Liaise with lenders to negotiate terms, secure pre-approvals, and facilitate the mortgage approval process.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze client financial documents, including income statements, tax returns, and credit reports, to determine mortgage eligibility and affordability.

Conduct affordability assessments and advise clients on budgeting and financial planning.

Market Research:

Stay informed about current mortgage market trends, interest rates, and lending policies.

Research and compare mortgage products from various lenders to identify the best options for clients.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the mortgage process.

Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed about the status of their mortgage application and address any questions or concerns.

• CeMap qualification is preferred
• At least 3 years previous experience working as a mortgage broker
• UK citizen and no requirement for sponsorship
• Able to commute and work in office
• Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Basic salary depending on experience, likely to be £26k
• In house leads provided by the company 15% commission
• Self generated leads 35%
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Monday - Thursday 8:50am-5pm and Friday 8:50am-1pm
