The Role

We're offering a rare opportunity for a Mortgage Services Sales Manager to lead a dynamic team of 7 Mortgage Consultants across 7 branches in South West London.

You'll be tasked with effectively retaining, recruiting, developing, and managing a team of Mortgage Consultants, providing an exceptional mortgage advisory service to customers in line with company policies, procedures, directives, and statutory rules and regulations.

As a successful candidate, you'll receive ongoing support and training to help achieve your business objectives. This fantastic opportunity offers an OTE of circa £70K and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Certify MSC’s under your span of control.
  • Develop a team of Mortgage Consultants to achieve personal business objectives and specific performance and quality standards set by the company.
  • Support the recruitment, development, and retention of Mortgage Consultants in line with the Company’s recruitment plan.
  • Collaborate closely with Estate Agency colleagues and the New Homes team to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach to business development activities, delivering first appointment volumes in line with business plans.
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate business plans to achieve required revenue growth from a range of income streams, in alignment with the Divisional Mortgage Services Director.
  • Ensure team members maintain best practice and adhere to all relevant legislation, promoting a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused approach to business processes, adhering to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) at all times.


Background, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • CeMAP qualification (or industry-recognized equivalent) is a must-have.
  • Proven track record of sales leadership in Mortgage services.
  • Excellent knowledge of Financial Services core products.
  • Working knowledge of identifying and maximizing business opportunities within the estate agency environment.
  • Familiarity with legislation impacting Financial Services businesses, particularly in mortgage & protection sectors.
  • Strong technical and e-commerce knowledge to effectively train Mortgage Consultants and promote services using mortgage sourcing software solutions.
