Remuneration:

To £29,000 including car allowance, financial guarantees to £40,000 for 6 months, pension, DIS, OTE £50,000 year 1, £75,000 year 2

Overview:

A renowned estate agency is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to provide mortgage and protection advice from their bustling office in Barnsley. The successful candidate will handle mortgages up to £450k, with an average property value of £150k.

Main Duties:

This role presents an outstanding opportunity for a fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join an established estate agency branch in Barnsley. As the sole mortgage advisor or broker in the branch, you will receive new mortgage leads daily. Additionally, you'll have access to an extensive client base of over 5000 individuals, where you'll provide a top-tier remortgage service.

The Barnsley office boasts a database of over 5000 existing clients and handles properties up to £450k, with an average property value of £150k. With approximately 700 properties sold monthly in the area, the branch requires a proactive Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to collaborate with the introducer team, contacting existing clients to review their mortgage and protection policies, while also receiving fresh leads on a daily basis.

Key Skills:

Given the solitary nature of the role within the Barnsley branch, a comprehensive understanding of mortgages and their various products is imperative, alongside the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent). Applications are open to individuals from tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environments, provided they demonstrate a strong track record in mortgage sales and possess qualifications such as CeMAP, CF6, or MAQ, along with CAS. A clean credit history, absence of criminal convictions, and possession of a full UK driving license are also essential.
