My client is a market leading Financial Services organisation who are continuing to grow. As apart of their expansion plans they have an opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator to join their successful Mortgage division.

You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative support service to the Mortgage Advisers to ensure an efficient and high standard of service is delivered to clients.

Duties:

· Administration

To provide comprehensive administrative support for client matters on behalf of Mortgage Advisor’s including, File Management, Diary Management, File Accounting procedures. To respond to written queries on behalf of the Mortgage Advisor’s as directed within established guidelines where appropriate. To maintain a paper file and computer file for each client and follow Administration and Compliance Workflow Framework on a daily basis. Using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain, records, spreadsheets and databases. To compile monthly reports into a standard format for the property department and FS Manager to monitor achievement of targets. Ensure regular contact by, phone, email, text or letter with new and existing clients is maintained.

· Customer Service

To arrange appointments on behalf of the Mortgage Advisor’s on request with clients and other internal and external contacts and ensure they have up to date information for those appointments so their time is used effectively and diaries are kept up to date. To provide administration support for client matters on behalf of the Mortgage Advisor including correspondence, ensuring all compliance and application forms are fully completed, tracking new applications via the internet/over the phone through the providers and instructing conveyancers and keeping them and clients updated on progress of applications as appropriate. To respond to internal leads and client queries face to face, over the phone and in writing on behalf of the MAs and ensure they are kept up to date on progress of their matters wherever possible.

Essential

  • Driving license and use of a car
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexibility to ensure client expectations are met
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of computer systems and good Excel, MSOffice
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Honesty and integrity is vital for this role.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making with the ability to solve basic queries regarding the progress of matters. Refer more technical queries to the Mortgage Advisor.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Studying for CeMAP 1, 2 & 3
  • Experience of entering data on CRM
