My client is a Norwich based chartered holistic financial planning firm who have been providing advice to Norfolk and afar for over fifty years and you can become part of their success by supporting their existing mortgage team as an Administrator.

My client is considering both full and part time applicants for this vacancy.

Job Summary

To provide a welcoming, efficient, professional and effective client service with a high focus on quality and accuracy, adhering to TCF and Consumer Duty principles at all times.

Key responsibilities

  • To process and manage mortgage cases from submission through to completion, undertaking research as required.
  • To communicate with clients and providers, responding to queries via telephone, email and post in a timely manner.
  • To ensure all client records and data are maintained accurately and efficiently.
  • To obtain and interpret information from providers, keeping mortgage advisers up to date with all communications.
  • To ensure files are fully FCA compliant by following internal compliance procedures.
  • To prepare client meeting packs.
  • To calculate fees, raise client invoices and chase outstanding fees as required.
  • The effective management of day-to-day work through the company’s workflow system.
  • To carry out other general administration duties as assigned.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

CeMAP qualification (Desirable)

Grade A-C or 9-4 including English and Maths

Previous experience in Financial Services

Understanding of FCA rules, ethics and financial regulations (Desirable)

Strong IT skills, MS Office Word and Excel

Excellent Organisational and communication skills

Ability to work to deadlines

Good numeracy skills

Good attention to detail

Able to demonstrate an adaptable/flexible approach to work within a changing environment

The ability to work within a team environment

Great inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
