Salary: £31,320

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Mobile Survival Equipment Supervisor on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Boscombe Downs (near Amesbury) depot.

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established contract providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. An interesting, dynamic and rewarding role utilising specialist skill whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger International organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) the Mobile Survival Equipment Supervisor (SE Sup) is to lead, supervise and ensure the provision of scheduled maintenance, repair and fitting of RAF and Company owned Safety Equipment and Aircrew Assemblies and all other survival equipment related tasks and activities to meet or exceed the customer contractual requirements.
  • Complete all documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
  • The role will include, though not limited to act as a lead on any SE investigations, assist in the ground movement of aircraft and flight line operations if needed, mentor new starters, ensure all Survival Equipment is issued and fitted to meet the customers’ needs.

You will need to hold the following qualifications

  • RAF Safety Equipment Course or civilian equivalent.
  • AV-MED
  • Q-SE-AC (Helmet Fitting)
  • Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security. This will include a minimum of a Baseline Security Check.
