Join our team at Smart Education! We're collaborating with a diverse residential special school and currently on the lookout for a skilled minibus driver. Here's what we're searching for:

Essential Qualifications:

• MIDAS training certification
• Proven experience manoeuvring larger vehicles, such as vans and minibuses
• Solid grasp of basic vehicle safety protocols
• Specialised background in driving minibuses within a school setting

Key Attributes:

• Flexibility to manage assigned shifts
• Strong organisational abilities to uphold precise administrative records
• Ability to remain composed in various situations
• Clear and effective communication skills in English, essential for interactions with parents, students, colleagues, and the wider community

Desired Qualities:

• Eagerness for further training opportunities
• Completion of Minibus Driver Awareness Training (MIDAS) and maintain certification during employment
• Willingness to engage in school-provided training, including relevant MAPA (management of actual or potential aggression) training
• Previous experience in Advanced Driver Training

Requirements:

• Valid category D1 driving license with no more than six penalty points
• Commitment to ongoing relevant training
• Completed Enhanced DBS check

Salary: £12.57 - £13.77 per hour
