Web App Engineer (Migration)

Rate - £600 a day

Duration - 3 Month initially

Location - London (Hybrid)

Ir35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella company)

We are currently recruiting for a Migration Engineer who has previous experience with migrating web applications off Virtual Machine and into Kubernetes.

Ideal Skill Set:

  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • CI/CD (preferably Gitlab CI)
  • Web infrastructure experience preferable

The project would see the candidate migrating existing web applications built in either Node.js or Java by creating an image in Docker and then being able to deploy it to Azure hosted Kubernetes clusters depending on the application. They would need to then test the application with support from our development team. No coding knowledge will be required but a familiarity with Node.js or Java would be helpful.
