We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our client on the outskirt of Calne, Wiltshire. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding various metal components.

This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, power tools, and hand tools
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Skills:
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding processes
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Knowledge of stick welding is a plus

Working shift pattern:

Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 17:15

Friday 08:15 - 15:00

Hourly rate £13.00 per hour
