Role: MIG WELDER

Our client is a household name in the industry and is seeking time-served MIG Welders to work in their factory in Stockton-on-Tees. Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • Days £17.48 per hour
  • Backs £20.98 per hour
  • Night £22.20 per hour
  • Overtime Monday to Saturday £26.22 per hour
  • Overtime Sunday £34.96per hour
  • Three shift pattern, shifts do not rotate but you must be flexible to work any shift.
  • 06:45AM - 15:00PM (Mon - Thur) 6.45AM - 12.45PM (Fri)
  • 14:45PM - 23:00PM (Mon - Thur) 10.45AM - 16.45PM (Fri)
  • 22:45PM - 07:00AM (Mon - Thur) 16.30PM - 22.30PM (Fri)
  • Part time option available

Responsibilities:

  • Work on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances
  • Work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Follow a standard work procedure/housekeeping
  • Carry out some manual lifting
  • Use overhead cranes
  • Jig work
  • Adhering to PPE requirements and standards in place.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of MIG Welding
  • Time Served Welder
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3
