Job Title: Agency Midwife

Location: Aberdare, Wales

Salary: Up to £53 per hour

Job Description:

As an agency midwife, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to expectant mothers. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby during the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting regular check-ups and assessments of pregnant women

- Monitoring foetal development and maternal health

- Assisting with labour and delivery

- Providing postnatal care and support to new mothers

- Educating patients on prenatal and postnatal care practices

Requirements:

- Valid registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

- Previous experience working as a midwife in a clinical setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care
