Mid/Senior PHP Developer (Symfony) - £60,000-£90,000 - Norwich

Cloudscope are recruiting a PHP/Symfony Developer for an exclusive client in the Norwich area. Our client is leading their space as an online entertainment business, with a substantial turnover growth in the last year. Our client currently has exciting prospects for continuous growth and an already experienced team based at their Norwich office. Are you an experience Symfony developer looking for your next challenge? The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to build, test and deploy digital solutions across web and mobile platforms.

The Role:

• Implement software solutions using Symfony
• Ensure all code is thoroughly tested and meets development criteria
• Identify and address technical debt in the codebase
• Maintain and enhance the proprietary technology platform
• Translate high-level requirements into executable software designs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage priorities and timelines

The Candidate:

• Proven, in depth experience working with Symfony / PHP for at least the last 3-5 years
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with Git, HTML, CSS and experience with code versioning
• Familiarity with Scrum / Agile software development methodology is a plus
• Desirable experience in Debian, AWS (EC2, Load Balancers)

This role will suit an experienced PHP Developer with proven Symfony experience. You will be happy working in the office whilst you settle in an integrate yourself with the team and business objectives. There are options for remote working but they would like someone willing to show presence in the office regularly.
