Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate

We're seeking an Associate to join this thriving and highly accomplished commercial litigation team based in London.

The commercial litigation team handles a diverse range of dispute-related matters, including contractual claims, economic torts, and disputes among companies, directors, and shareholders. They also specialize in areas such as cyber/data protection, fraud, technology, reputation management, IP, sports, and licensing.

Role Responsibilities:

• As a team member, you'll play a pivotal role in the team's success by assisting Partners and legal directors in handling complex, high-value work for clients.
• Depending on your experience level, you'll also have opportunities to work autonomously on various matters.
• Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Managing cases on a day-to-day basis.
• Serving as a primary contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, and delivering high-level service consistently.
• Demonstrating strong financial management skills.
• Supporting marketing and business development efforts and contributing to non-fee-earning activities as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in a litigation team, dealing with a range of claims from inception to resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues on daily matters.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and managing tasks within deadlines.
• Team player mentality with a willingness to share knowledge and support teammates.
• Proficiency in IT skills, including Word and Outlook.
