Microsoft Intune Configuration

Role: Microsoft Intune Configuration.

Project: 16 weeks | Outside IR35 | Hybrid | £500 p/day.

Start date: 26/03/24 or the 02/04/24.

Success Criteria:

• Automated Patch Deployment: Configure SCCM/MECM/WSUS and Intune for automatic patch deployment on various devices within the specified timeframe.
• Patch Management: Integrate Patch My PC software for efficient delivery of relevant patches to SCCM/MECM and Intune, ensuring successful deployment.
• Patching Infrastructure: Implement a system for automatic download of the latest patches and establish a process for importing missed or "out of band" patches into SCCM/MECM/WSUS.
• Comprehensive Patching and Remediation: Patch and remediate all servers and end-user devices to address documented vulnerabilities.
• Software Clean-up: Confirm through tools like Qualys that all unused or unnecessary software is removed unless specified otherwise.
• Exchange Server Update: Upgrade the hybrid Exchange 2016 server to the latest supported Exchange cumulative update.
• Knowledge Transfer: Conduct effective knowledge transfer, including comprehensive reports and agreed-upon training materials.

Required Skills:

• Experience in patching within a Microsoft environment.
• Proficiency with SCCM/MECM and Intune.
• Familiarity with Patch My PC software.
• Experience in remediating Windows and Active Directory-based vulnerabilities.

Location:

The consultant is expected to be partially based at the Head Office (Wellington House, Leeds) during the contract period. Some aspects of the delivery will be conducted remotely via Azure Virtual Desktop.

Security Requirements:

The CA holds confidential police data; therefore, any consultant provided by the partner must have a minimum NPPV (non-police personnel) Level 2 (abbreviated) or NPPV (non-police personnel) Level 2 (full) vetting.
