Meter Technician

Temporary 12 week contract (this will then be reviewed)

£14.27 per hour

37 Hours Per Week 

Our client is seeking a Meter technician to join their team within the Fakenham area. Working hours are flexible between the working window of 6:30am to 20:00pm, Monday to Friday including some hours on a Saturday. You will manage your own workload, so will feel like you are your own boss with the support of a big organisation behind you.

Role:

  • Obtain accurate readings from water meters. 
  • Carry out meter exchanges – (full training will be provided) 
  • Collecting meter data.
  • Use of a handheld computer to carry out work.
  • Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service. 

Skills:

This is a physically demanding role where you will walk 3 to 8 miles per day, therefore experience in retail or hospitality and being on your feet would be great. As well as:

  • A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • A current appropriate clean UK driving licence.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Must be located within 30 minutes of Fakenham.
