Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager

  • 6 month Contract
  • OUTSIDE IR35
  • 2 days per week onsite in London

Role overview

Our client, a leader within the Insurance industry, are recruiting for a Project Manager with strong M&A experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on a high profile, fast paced, delivery focused growth and acquisition project working with a variety of third parties

Responsibilities

  • Project Plan - Develop and own the project plan end to end - including time lines, scope and delivery ownership
  • Own and be responsible for the project rhythm (meetings, documents, delivery) using best practice and intuition
  • End to end development and ownership of formal project governance, including the plan, task tracking, delivery tracking, meeting management

Key requirements

  • Experience of a project manager in financial services and software implementation
  • Track record as a Project/ Programme Manager
  • Experience of M&A / Rebranding / Marketing
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Office)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
