Mental Health Support - Bracknell

A fantastic opportunity has recently become available for a Mental Health Support Assistant in a primary school in Bracknell. The school are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

The role as a Mental health Support Worker:

  • To support students who struggle with their class work
  • Encourage positive coping strategies
  • Facilitate a fun and friendly learning environment
  • To provide support to the class teacher and help with general classroom admin
  • To encourage children to do their best
  • Help manage, de-escalate and redirect any classroom behaviour
  • Listen to the children read and practice their phonics

The successful Mental Health Support Worker:

  • A calm and compassionate personality
  • Proactive
  • Patient
  • Passionate about helping children with mental health needs
  • You must understand the importance of safeguarding in schools
  • Must have an enhanced DBS Check or be willing to apply for one
  • Must have right to live/work in the UK - we not offer sponsorships
