Mental Health Support Worker

Salary GBP £12.75/Hr Plus £44 sleep in rate

Shifts
Full time contracts of 35 hours per week are available working shifts 8am - 3pm and 3pm - 10pm. Some sleep in shifts will also be required working 10pm - 8am paid at an additional rate of £44 per night.

About the Service
The service contains 5 beds and will provide intermediate short term rehabilitation support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum and is designed to be a personalised, interactive and collaborative process, reflecting the whole person. It will enable individuals to maximise their potential to live a full and active life within their family, social networks, education/training and the workplace where appropriate, in the context of their mental health and promote recovery.

Responsibilities
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on individuals lives? We are seeking dedicated Senior Recovery Workers to join our new team!
You will provide support and care to the people living at the service who have various Mental Health conditions and Learning Disabilities.
You will deliver a range of recovery focused interventions to promote social inclusion, recovery, well being and independence. You will also support access to employment, education and training opportunities in line with the service level agreement. The successful candidate will also take on senior tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to ensure that the service runs effectively day to day and will be involved in developing the service.

The Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will have experience of working within a mental health setting or similar and have the knowledge of understanding and working with people with a variety of complex needs is essential for this role. Experience of managing/leading others would be an advantage.
