My client, a financial services membership organisation, is currently recruiting for a Membership Engagement Manager.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the financial services sector to work with the organisation and grow their membership in the region.

Main Responsibilities of the Membership Engagement Manager Ireland:

  • Developing and implementing plans that deliver sustainable growth of their membership in Ireland.
  • Understanding the needs and serving the growing the membership in Ireland. This includes arranging and attending local CPD events and social events driven by the National Advisory Council.
  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for the organisation.
  • Managing their Ireland National Advisory Council - organising and managing meetings as well as maintaining momentum between meetings.
  • Maintaining and building strong and effective relations with existing customers to provide them with an effective communication channel.
  • Working effectively and collaboratively with their colleagues including marketing and communications to drive success.
  • Liaising with the London head office regularly for support and administration.
  • Reporting formally and regularly to the Assistant Director, Global Business Development on the Irish market.
  • Representing the organisation in Ireland.

Essential Skills:

  • 5 + years’ experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Business development/account management experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Leadership and ambassadorial qualities.
  • Strong interpersonal and confident presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the Irish financial sector.
  • Proven experience working independently to meet targets
