Position: Mechatronics Engineer
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
Location of work: Newcastle
The Role: Our client, a leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke and innovative robotic solutions is now looking to add an experienced Mechatronic Engineer to their team. The successful Engineer will get the chance to contribute across the design elements of multiple components (including mechanical, electronics, software, electrical), designing a range of bespoke, cutting-edge products.
The successful engineer will be joining a fast paced, growing, engineering team and can expect their role to involve a variety of tasks across development, design, test and implementation, whilst working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal engineer will have a relevant degree qualification and industry experience working in a R&D focussed environment and be keen to contribute across the full design life cycle. You should also enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems and designing innovative solutions. Any experience with electrical and controls systems will really make your CV standout.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Engineering Degree qualifications - Mechanical, electronic or electrical subject.
- Mechanical design - SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidEdge or similar
- Electronic design - PCB, schematics, circuit design
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Masters Degree or PHD
- Embedded software
- Software programming - C, C++ or Python
