Client Summary:
Service and repair of Rail Freight Rolling Stock

Position Summary
We are looking for a number of Team Players to join a small but busy team responsible for the strip and build of Rail Freight Wagons
Working a day shift within the heart of the Client's Site, the role will involve the complete strip and disassembly of Rail Freight Wagons and ultimately re-assembly using new or refurbished components before releasing back to the client as a newly refurbished wagon.

Person Profile/Experience:
We are looking for technically capable fitters with at least 12 months experience of working on Rail Wagons, rolling stock, HGV or heavy mobile plant, ex-Military with a suitable technical/engineering background encouraged to apply. You will be hands on, competent and confident on the tools and be capable of working to engineering drawings and schematics
Your experience will be predominantly within a mechanically biased background

You will be physically fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoors where required.

Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work. Regular random checks are carried out to ensure compliance

Qualifications:
NVQ Level 1 or 2 in a mechanical fitting skill set desirable
Experience supersedes all
