Mechanical Product Manager

***MECHANICAL PRODUCT MANAGER***
We are on the hunt for an experienced and talented Mechanical Product Manager with a solid background within the manufacturing of mechanical products and instrumentation. With a degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering the purpose of the role is to manage and develop the existing range of mechanical products currently in the company's portfolio.
Salary up to £65K depending on experience + benefits
Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Product Manager include,

• Maintain a high level of competitiveness of the company's instruments in the market
• Annually set the price list
• Development of specials and new products, collaborate with other teams involved to drive the project forward to deadline
• Ensure products are complete of all necessary technical and commercial documentation
• Technically support sales & marketing teams in the promotion of the products to customers
• Manage the quality and cost of the products
• Provide any technical support to customers as required
• Set, plan and conduct training sessions for other departments as required

The ideal Mechanical Product Manager will need the following,

• A Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
• Have knowledge of the standards (ASME/EN), normative and Directives applicable to mechanical products
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and main Microsoft tools required
• Experience in Process Control Instrumentation market
• Any knowledge of metrology concepts would be advantageous
• A proactive approach to the product development task
• Flexibility to travel overseas as required
