ARE YOU A MECHANICALLY BIASED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH SUPERVISORY OR TEAM LEADERSHIP BACKGROUND? HAVE YOU PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENTS?

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor required for a well established manufacturer who are renowned and well respected in their industry. They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people.

The role would suit maintenance supervisors or maintenance team leaders with a strong mechanical bias. You must have a proven track record of successfully leading a team within a manufacturing environment. Engineers will ideally be time served, apprentice trained or equivalent.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of 10 engineers and 4 apprentices. You will work within a large state of the art manufacturing facility which has a wide range of heavy production machinery. The facility also has a wide range of manufacturing processes, the successful engineer will benefit from a varied role. You will prioritise breakdown maintenance of machinery and contribute to PPM schedules. The role is a 50/50 split of shop floor work and office based activities. You will coordinate mechanical projects on site inclusive of ordering spares/parts and being the point of contact for all external contractors.
