Job Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you'll be a versatile individual.

Your role will encompass various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Repair and Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform repairs on a wide range of equipment including hydraulics, motors, pumps, and conveyors. Utilise troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently to minimise downtime.

  • Installation and Fabrication: Assist in the installation and assembly of new vessels and pipework. Utilise welding techniques such as stick, TIG, and MIG to fabricate and repair pipework as needed. Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

  • Pneumatic Systems: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pneumatic systems used in various manufacturing processes. Conduct regular inspections, identify leaks or malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance.

  • General Site Maintenance: Undertake general maintenance tasks to upkeep the facility and surrounding areas.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintenance roles
  • Proficiency in welding techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
