Based in Poole, my client is looking to recruit a Trainee Mechanical Inspector to join the busy established Inspection department.

Main duties will include:

  • 1st off inspection
  • Use of Mitutoyo
  • CMM experience
  • Last off inspection
  • Completion of all paperwork
  • Rejects and no conform parts
  • Previous experience of aerospace components

Person Spec

  • Experience of using verniers and other measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of cutting material and visual inspection
  • Work withing a machining environment would be an advantage

The majority of work is within the aerospace and defence sector.

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Hours: 39 hours per week

Salary: £11.50 - £15.00 per annum

Type: Permanent
