Our client based in Stafford Park is looking for full time mechanical fitter to join their busy and successful manufacturing company on a temporary to permanent contract.
As part of this role you will be travelling throughout the UK to service and install the large equipment, that the company fit and maintain for their numerous loyal clients.
You will be using a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair the machinery and equipment, in addition testing and identifying defective and worn mechanical components, and using precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit.
Ideal Candidate
  • 2/3 years experience in mechanical fitting
  • Ability to use precision tools accurately
  • Driving Licence
  • Flexibility (As will include UK wide travel/Hotel Stay Overs)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Hardworking/Motivated
Hours
Days
Monday – Friday
8-4pm
But there will be a large variance on this nights/weekends/overnight stays

Salary
£12.00 (Probation Period)
Time and a half, Double time available for extra hours
