Mechanical Fitter (Screw Pumps)
Location: East Midlands (Lincolnshire & East Anglia)
Shifts: 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £17-£17.50 per hour

The Company:
A national engineering company with 3 decades of experience within bespoke design, construction of water, energy, and environmental processing and engineering.
Mechanical Fitter (Screw Pumps) Responsibilities:
- General Mechanical duties
- Installation of mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearings
- Fitting of steel support systems
- Implement all of the company's rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken.
- Understand and sign onto all CPP/RAMS on Site and follow Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and rules on Site.
- Fault finding on mechanical equipment
- Works can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting an Electrician or Civils engineer
- Will work away from home on occasions
Mechanical Fitter (Screw Pumps) Essential Skills:
- Mechanical apprenticeship or level 3 Mechanical qualification as minimum
- Confined Space trained (Current)
- CSCS Card holder
- Mechanical Fitter (Screw Pumps) Desirable:
- Lifting operations qualified (CPCS) (Desirable)
- First Aid (Desirable)
- Health and Safety trained (IOSH) (Desirable)
