Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter / Assembler
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire.
Payrate: £13/£14 per hour.
Shifts: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to contribute to the construction of switchgear and electrical transformers. The primary responsibility involves mechanically mounting switchgear onto electrical transformers, with a predominant focus on new builds. Some maintenance tasks may be included in the scope of work.

Candidate Requirements:

Strong background in mechanical maintenance or assembly.
Advantageous to hold any NVQ qualifications in an engineering discipline.
Welding/fabrication skills would be highly advantageous.
