About the role

This role requires an individual who is highly motivated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to 'look outside the box’. Your passion for mechanical installations and estimating processes will show through with the quality and accuracy of your work. You’ll have sound technical knowledge and be able to adapt to the wide range projects in our industry.

Key responsibility areas:

• Own the tender from site inspection through to operational handover.
• Understand the bid documents, scope of works, contractual requirements and form a strategic plan for success.
• Understanding estimating processes and systems including building practices, methodology and continuously improving efficiency.
• Development of work breakdown activities, cost rates for skilled labour and trade activities.
• Analyse and measure risk of each tender and necessary projections for the project.
• Dissect tender packages, compile and prepare client returnable documentation.
• Provide a basis for project planning to ensure optimum efficiency in execution and lead times are met.
• Actively seek suitable tendering opportunities and develop relationships with clients and vendors.

Renumeration:

• Negotiable based on experience.
