Working for a specialist manufacturing and distribution business, you will be joining a highly skilled team of experts leading the way within the industry who constantly drive innovation with their new and bespoke products.

The business is currently undergoing a period of growth and as a result, has created a brand-new role for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join this expert team, therefore this is a rare opportunity to make this role your own.

This role would be perfect for an existing Electrical or Maintenance Engineer capable of managing the day-to-day planned and preventative maintenance, across machinery and site facilities.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with the Electrical Engineer on site you will have the opportunity to get stuck in and involved with facility upgrades and new installations in this fast-growing business.

This role will be based in Astbury (Cheshire) and may involve travel to other local sites to support maintenance across the group.

What the business needs from you…

• Completing maintenance activity including attending machine breakdowns, attending facility issues, and completing annual servicing along with completing compliance activity for both machinery and site services.
• Planning and carrying out machine installations and facility upgrades.
• Proven history within a similar role.
• Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
• Availability for call-outs as part of a pre-agreed rota.
