Mechanical Engineer

Reed recruitment are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer ideally with experience within the food industry.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of their production facilities. Your expertise will directly impact the quality, safety, and productivity of their food manufacturing processes.

Here are the key responsibilities:

• To carry out planned maintenance of all electrical and mechanical machinery on site
• Fault finding and repair of production equipment and services.
• Modification and improvements of existing plant and services

Requirements:

Experience:

• Previous experience in the food industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with food processing equipment and systems.
• Have previous experience of working in a controlled manufacturing environment, preferably involving good standards of hygiene & housekeeping.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
