Rate of pay: £300 to £350 per day (negotiable DOE)

Contract: 6 – 12 month rolling contract

Location: Central London

Key Responsibilities:

  • To inspect gas / heating systems / appliances on commercial premises
  • To provide a professional mechanical engineering service, specifying and designing new mechanical systems, inspecting works, fault finding, undertaking procurement, acting as contract administrator and project manager for mechanical projects undertaken by the council.

About you :

  • Gas safe qualified
  • Possess excellent technical knowledge of commercial / communal heating systems Ideally possess commercial gas qualifications Possess skills to prepare mechanical designs for communal heating replacement works and Ability to manage retrofit and new build mechanical installations of communal heating , low carbon mechanical installations, Understanding of heat networks and manage works of this nature.
  • Ability to write technical reports relevant to the role.
  • Ability to creatively solve engineering design and maintenance related problems.
  • Possess excellent project management / contract administration skills in order to plan, programme and deliver projects on time and agreed budgets Ensure projects are delivered in a cost effective and competitive manner, undertaking value engineering exercises throughout.
