- £34,000 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience/qualifications.
- 37.5 hrs a week

About the role
- Delivering projects to both internal and external stakeholders
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to build, and support of commissioning and installation
- Produce parts lists, detail drawings
- Take responsibility for all the mechanical aspects of a project and provide technical guidance to
- internal and external customers as necessary
- Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery
- Make occasional visits to both UK and international destinations as necessitated by the customer project requirements
The right candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ prior experience in a Design Engineering role, relatable to machinery
- HNC or Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Integrated)
- Experience in the design of electro-mechanical mechanisms and equipment
- 3D modelling skills - Solid Works, or Inventor
- The ability to read and produce 2D production drawings applying GD&T as necessary
- Experience of the interactions and interfaces with electrical engineering
- At interview stage you will need to bring or supply a portfolio of your work that has been created or work on
