Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Location: Mansfield
Pay: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Hours per week: 40

Client Summary:
Established in the UK, this leading company they specialise in the industry of designing and manufacturing specialist tools and equipment. With a focus on both plastic and metallic distribution pipelines.
The company's focus is on several sectors including water, gas, wastewater, and a variety of industrial fields. This company is committed to delivering a comprehensive suite of products and services for the effective installation and maintenance of utility distribution networks. The company has 4 sites in the UK and it products are used in 60 countries around the world.

Position summary:
Brand new position Working in a busy design office the role is the design of bespoke machinery for primarily the oil, gas and utilities industry. The job is primarily based onsite there can be a little bit of flexibility around working from but the majority with be onsite. The design package is SolidWorks and this is primarily what they are looking for from the successful candidate (there may be a future transition over to inventor at some point so this would also be acceptable with a little bit of SolidWorks experience). Really need someone to lead design projects, the company is quite unique in that the it does full concept everything from initial design to prototype and build onsite

Person Profile / Experience:
* SolidWorks experience
* Degree educated.
* Industry experience in automation, machinery or something similar ( machine handling
conveyor builds hydraulics etc)
